For Covid-19, ah gong foots the bills.

Guess employer’s biggest headache is, whether the helper has passed the virus to them and/or their kids. The family effectively becomes close contacts.

Merry Go Round!

But if the Maid urgently need to remit $ salary back home to their own family overseas, because their family members no $ to eat, and their off day Is the only day where they are free to run such critical errand / transaction , employer has to let them go out, remit $ home.

I find some of the non Singaporean really unbelievable in terms of social distancing..kids from different families go for outing, a group of cyclists on the road yesterday, downstairs so loud yesterday...celebrating no work/no school from next week mah?? maybe not yet official date, hope these will stop from next week..sigh..

Yesterday went Popular Bookstore after dinner. Had to take temperature, queue up, wait for one customer to exit before another customer allowed to enter. Mum told me over at her area, the Minimart downstairs also doing the same preventative measures.

I wonder what’s so special about NTUC that they DO NOT LIMIT the number of customers flooding in? It’s soooooo packed that there’s effectively no social distancing, except in the queue to pay and the risks of infection are high.

40 Things You Should Never Touch Due to Coronavirus

Touching, like the other five senses, used to be effortless and one of life's great pleasures. Now, with the threat of coronavirus (COVID-19), your fingers have become a time bomb. The trigger: a once-innocent delivery box or elevator button, which could cary deadly viral particles.

Whatever you do, avoid this list of 40 things you should never touch and keep coronavirus at bay. Then share it with someone you've been meaning to get in touch with.

Does anyone know about this initiative?
https://covidtutoringsupport.weebly.com/

It sounds like a worthy cause, to support underprivileged students with tutoring during this time of HBL. But they don't say anything about themselves! And they ask for info from potential volunteers and participants. My daughter's friend forwarded it to her, but doesnt know who is behind this. Anyone with info?

Not endorsed by MOE I think. Heard some P6 teachers using it to continue lessons because that’s really the most efficient, easy & effective way to communicate the lesson. PSLE still continuing, impossible to finish teaching if by written to-and-fro only.
